Port Moody Full Home Renovation
At Trilogy Contracting, each and every renovation is unique, and this project in Port Moody has a special place in our memory. This renovation was a true “down to the studs” project. Everything in the house was completely gutted and replaced. As you could imagine, this was a fun project for us as our creativity was completely unrestricted.

Before Trilogy Contracting showed up…
Like we said. Down to the studs. This home was a victim of Asbestos, and with Asbestos in all of the walls, everything had to come down. For more information on the dangers of Asbestos, read here.
We also had to furr out the walls (increase the thickness of the walls) from 2×4 studs to 2×6 studs, which allowed us the space put in proper R20 insulation. From an unsafe old home to something warm, welcoming, safe, and up-to-code! :)
We did keep the original fire-place and mantel, which is the new home to a safe, maintenance-free, electric fireplace.
Removing the “closed-concept” walls around the kitchen-area totally opened up the main living space. One big space allows for easy hosting and keeps the party centred around food and drinks. An open concept kitchen is something we recommend often to our clients.
